| Now safe and sound in the collection. I had searched for one of these for quite a few years (decades) finding it felt a little Indiana Jones, lol. I am very pleased and have been examining it carefully for the last few days. Bought some original paper packed ammo, and looking for an original holster, now. Pitfighter. | |

| Claymore - I have bought some Hornady Mk-ii which is VERY low power, should I ever decide to shoot it. I have also been scrounging all the period .455 I can find, it used to come seven rounds to a paper wrap, with string binding. I now have two contradictions in my collection, an automatic revolver:(see above) And, a bolt action semi-auto - G41(m): (The original 1941 sling on the rifle was attached to the MGC MP40 I bought on this site last month.)

| In California, when we buy a handgun we have to wait 10 days before picking it up. I won this one on an online auction site. I get to collect it this weekend. But here are a few things that it came with: Matching 1940 waffen marked holster. Wood tipped magazines, within 2000 range serial of firearm. A couple of boxes of 1940's 9mm. But, the part I most enjoy - The GI capture papers from germany 1945, listing the handgun (it's serial), a bayonet and camera, and the GI's personal information. These papers were needed to bring the firearm home to the US, and serve as a document to substantiate the firearms provenance. Fun, stuff no? Pit. | |

| Lovely.... all those details add so much they are perhaps even better find than the main item :-) The fragile paper which survived all those years in a very god shape (it's not even yellow) is especially worth attention! | |

| It is very yellow, in person, and extremely fragile, it is kept in a flattened plastic container. (This is a particular bad photo.)
I have wanted one for a while.
