Wa Shan 1911 45 as you all know by now wa shan models are all metal apart from this one, lucky me i had to get one with a plastic barrel not that is the end of the world but this one is RED!! painted black and the black is coming off i can of course paint it again but it will only come off again so anyone got a spare metal barrel for one of know how to paint it that wont come off.
The wa shan rounds arent the best but as there is not another 45 round that really matches (MGC old 45 being closest but still needs some of the copper head taking off) you really need to get these to work and its not that hard as you can do the following:
1. change the pin in the round to the marushin new style 9mm rounds the ones with 2 seals they fit and the round works fine or
2. use silicon grease around the seal and on the screw thread and the work fine, thats what i did for this vid
The gun does jam for the same reasons as all other models bad caps and occasional feed problems, this model does not have the crack of the tanio 45 but then its all metel (ish) so that makes up for it.
