Shoei FG 42 Type II

I came across this for sale at a friend's shop and intended to buy it....but never got around to it. Then a Forum member expressed an interest in it, so I purchased it on his behalf and freighted it on to him.
After some major hassles from him, it's not something I'm likely to do again.

But here's some quick photos I managed to snap while I could.

They are really nice replicas, I have one, but I didn't get a sling with mine.
Mad Mike very kindly provided some dummy rounds for me, and it is now an awesome part of my collection.
It really doesn't feel very live when you pick it up, somehow the weight is strangely distributed - but it is a great looking replica.

I am sorry to hear you had a hard time being a middle man - I did it a couple of times, both times it was nerve wracking because I realized if the package got lost, I would be at fault to both parties. However we all got lucky as the replicas got to their various destinations, but it wasn't much fun, and I won't do it again.
