Do you for whatever reason keep your fired cap bodies?

Yes i do, i have to keep them as they are used as the seal in my M12s and also i use them for the extra seal in the Marushin X177 instead of using 2 caps. i have also tried the cap seal in the uzi and it works well.

At first, i kept them as a memento and for the possibility of re-using them (if possible, re-filling them) i used them as a "adaptor" for undersized caps, that i found at the stores meant for capguns. These caps are usually 3-4mm in diameter and they fit inside of the empty 7mm cap bodies nicely+they take up the room in the cartridge and they acted as a gas-seal. These caps are far weaker than the real Japanese caps but, they where all that i could find 4-5 years ago and they did operate the Marushin MP40/M712 that i tried them in..

I throw mine away. It is possible to real fill the caps with gunpowder, but it has to be special 'ignite on impact' stuff. R22master knows a lot about pyrotechnics and will happily answer your questions.

Claymore- are you registered on arnies? Just i've seen a 'claymore' browsing the boards over there
