Universal M1 Carbine -on its way1

I think I've got an M1 Carbine addiction! Just managed to buy a Universal M1 Carbine (accurate and in good nick) on auction.

I think you have a total addiction to anything that resembles any gun.
I am so jealous that your laws there seem to be fairly relaxed.
Maybe I should migrate over there, as there seems to be a lot of Kiwis coming here. I need to keep the balance right LOL!

Oziguns....you could be right!
But who knows how much longer our laws will be so good? SO I am making hay while the sun shines.
You'd be more than welcome to come over here to live....just expect very low wages compared to Aussieland.
BUT no snakes, now funnel-web spiders, no crocodiles or alligators...just a few red backs (migrated from Australia) and white tail spiders to we wary of!
I'm happy to be over here - for obvious reasons!

The metal handguard (to me it's more of a heatshield) on the M1 Carbine (and any other guns actually) is simply exotic...

And no problem for lower wages in NZ - it seems everything is cheaper compared to Australia now ...

I like the metal too - and Universal made many changes to the USGI M1 model - so often parts are NOT interchangeable. Whch is not so good if you need a new part!
