| My thanks go to HIGUsan who kindly gave me this modification to share here  CMC Mauser Kar98 Bolt / Extractor Modification Over time, the steel extractor fitted to CMC's Kar98 Bolt Action rifle scores it's way into the Zinc alloy bolt leaving unsightly marks.To avoid this, glue a strip of plastic to the extractor as shown below. This will raise the extractor just enough to give clearance between it's sharp edge and the Bolt. A nice simple fix, thank you very much HIGUsan
