| Hi Chris, Your cartridges are for open detonator blowback version that use paper caps though your cartridge box is for CP version. I don’t recommend firing MGC M1 carbine because its bolt is not strong enough. If broke it, it is difficult to find bolt for replace, even in Japan. | |

| Thank you! I've fired my M1 already, with other Cartridges I can identify now as CP-BLK Cartridges. But there were just 4 Cartridges of this Typ in the Set. Maybe there is an other Detonator Pin inside? | |

| So, this is one of the other Cartridge-Typs: [img] [/img] Manufactor: MGC? Designation: .30 Type: CP-BLK Carts per Box: 10 Lengh: 35 mm Diameter: 8 mm Weight: 8,824 g Parts: 4 (top, bottom, insert, piston pin) O-Ring-Size: unknown Caps: 5mm Used in MGC M1 Carbine These must be the CP-BLK Cartridges wich came into the Box, but I just have 5 pieces. I also think, that something is missing inside, maybe an O-Ring-Seal? [img] [/img] There is not enough Power from the 5mmCap to push the bolt backward... | |

| there is a seal missing but its easy to remedy as this type of round uses a spent cap as a seal normally a 7mm cap, you need to use a used cap in good condition and put a clean hole in the middle (a hole punch is good for this) then put it on the cp pin with what would of been the powder side facing down and ther you go, the 5mm cap is more than powerful enough to move the bolt once that cap seal is in. | |

| OK, Now I knew where the Cap has gone... it's on the Detonator Pin... This does every Cartridge doing I've loaded this way, this can't be right? Could it be that my Cartridges are polished too large? Or is the Hole in the seal Cap too small??? | |

| Hi ChrisIf the used cap you're using as a seal is ending up on the Detonator Pin in the Chamber, it sounds as if you've loaded the cartridge incorrectly. What you need to do is place the "primer" in the cartridge first. Then push the cap down all the way until it rests o the "primer". Make sure the "primer" lies level with the rear of the cartridge baseNow take a used cap, punch a small hole in its centre and place it over the pin with it's open end facing the new cap inside the cartridge. Apply a small amount of silicone grease to the used caps' edges. Push the Pin and its' seal into the cartridge just far enough to lie flush with the top of the threads.Next screw on the cartridge top.Looking at this photo from the Left side, the Pin is the 2nd part, place the used cap over this sharp pin to acr as the seal. When the Pin is inside the cartridge, the larger diameter of the brass pin shuld be visible, not the used capTake a look at he diagram shown here: https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/t2280-guide-to-cartridge-typesScroll down to the CP-BLK diagram, this is what you are aiming for _________________ Cerwyn
