PostSubject: Bullpups   Bullpups Icon_minitimeWed Jan 09, 2013 2:16 pm

Hi,
wondered if anyone had tried taking the shell of an airsoft bullpup like TAR 21, AUG etc and fitting the internals of an PFC Xm177E2 to it?
Just a thought...

Hi Huw,

Yes indeed, there are some examples of custom built bullpup PFC firing models to be seen on youtube.

F2000 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kRFSNYXJwEY and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaCYkAk154M

L85A1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bNxqPNuNwZY

As you can see briefly, the firing mechanism for the F2000 has been custom built. From memory, the L85A1 used an ingenious custom built mechanism based on Marushin M712 parts. There are details and photos of this somewhere but I can't find them at the minute. I'll keep looking ...
