Subject: sock for mgc m4 Tue Jan 15, 2013 10:57 am
hi all
can anyone tell me where i might be able to get hold of an m4 style stock for my mgc m4? mine originally came with the older ar style stock and i would really like to find a later m4 style one but any airsoft ones i have tried were too small to fit the buffer tube. any help would be great even if its just a pointer as to what spec stock to be looking for

trouble is real stocks come in mil spec and commercial spec to fit mil spec and commercial spec tubes. the mgc m4 has the flat end profile of a mil spec but what appears to be a commercial spec diameter tube thats the problem. i was hoping someone on here has already done the swap and can simply go that spec fits and that doesnt.not much comes up when trying to search out info on what fits them unfortunately
i just noticed the title as well and realised the t didnt work lol so im looking for a sock hahaha

Wich coulor for the Sock? I can send a pink one formaly it was white.....
Have you tryed a SYSTEMA Stock? The Systemas are in most Dimensions same like Original, The most reel Parts fits to a Systema, so why not the Stock? Tell me the Dimensions of your Stock Tube and I' check if it's same like my Systema... Diameter at Sytema Tube: 29,5mm =1,16 inch

cheers bud for the reply, after searching many search entries i came across a very useful diagram which i think has led me to believe the stock tube size on a mgc m4 pfg is a mil spec size.
your systema seems to fall into the common airsoft size of commercial spec which is slightly smaller which makes sense as no airsoft one fits as its way too tight.
i appreciate your input and if im incorrect im hoping someone will correct me on it ut to me it looks like a mill spec m4 stock should fit my m4
i wont close the thread or say im sorted just incase i am wrong
