Subject: Value of CMC M1 Carbine Sat Feb 16, 2013 5:23 pm
I'm considering selling my CMC M1 Carbine with magazine and a couple of carts, but not sure what price to sell it for. It has the main recoil spring missing and also requires a smaller spring type plunger on the cocking lever bit (god knows where they went). Any ideas of what the value would be "as is"?
I was thinking of restoring it and then selling it but in all honesty I can't be bothered with all the hassle.

Just read some of the restoration guides by Kiwigunner. Doesn't seem too overly time consuming or expensive so I might restore it after all.

It's a Question of Condition... Is the Gun used well? What about the Woodwork? Shows the Bolt mushrooming or polished parts?
So what it is, I would have 300-400 Euros for a well used M1 with bad, but good working Bolt, scratches at the Wood....
