| I'm sorry to confirm that yes, there have been several bad reports about all of Mr. Nakamura's retail outlets. Your tale sounds fairly typical, you order and pay, he then says he's awaiting stock, you wait, keep waiting, he keeps promising in the hope he can find one....
All of his outlets have been flagged up here on numerous occasions as dubious. _________________ Cerwyn

| That's the problem when a dealer operates under several different websites and company names. Keeping track on his feedback and reputation gets difficult. Unlike the vast majority of members I'm on here every day and can remember bad/good reports about dealers etc.
$306 is a lot of money to lose, I'd approach your CC company again, surely they have Insurance cover for cases like this? _________________ Cerwyn

| Like-wise I had a similar problem when I first joined the forum 3 years ago, and ordered an MP40 Marushin magagine for my very first Modelgun - the gun I bought locally had a repaired mag, and I wanted a new one. TTD was the only place I could find one at the time. Paid the money, and the order was confirmed; then waited and waited, and waited. I sent a couple of emails with no response. Then I read about problems on this Forum. So I decided to get HEAVY and lean on him a little bit: I work as a legal Advocate for people with Intellectual Disabilities who get into trouble with the police - so I told him so and threatened a legal course of action would taken place via the Japanese Embassy in New Zealand if I did not hear a replay within 7 days. I got an immediate response; a formal apology from Miki; and explanation that they were out of stock but that a shipment was due that week. A few days later I had an email from him to say the shipment has arrived and my Mag was on it's way; and it arrived 4 days later! I suggest you email to all his companies and advise that you will be sending a letter of complaint to the Japanese Embassy in your country with a copy to the Tokyo HQ of the Japanese Government Minisitry of Trade - and see what happens! And let US all know! Kiwigunner

| For a magazine, one might take the chance to pay him, and then use your method...but with higher amounts for a model gun, no way it's a shot in the dark |

| I agree - but I have messaged him on hi s FB page and placed a link to this Forum so he can see how much his reputation is suffering with Modelgunners on here. Maybe that might surprise and wake him up.
You never can tell - losing Face is a culturally sensitive issue for some people. He's lost face with most of us here!

| It is quite a shame because with all his websites combined he had many many model guns and rare airsofts for sale...I mean the model gun community is small enough as it is, and with his business not being trusted, it makes it even smaller. There's only like 5 model gun dealers WORLDWIDE, that's insanely small, while the airsoft popularity is much much higher. |

| That's why he has much to loose as people find out!

If there were a Japanese Better Business Bureau or a Tokyo/Japan Attorney General I would do something along those lines, but I doubt that this person feels any shame in bilking us 'hairy apes'... | |

| United Nations Trade Centre??
Find their address and a contact; then write to Miki and say you have those details and will follow through if he doesn't respond in 7 working days.Just an idea!
The threat of embarrassing him might work? And might shake up his ideas. He does seem to have a good range of model guns - just his service is very dodgy!
If we help him tidy up his act, we'd have a good source.

Don't assume that just because his wesite says he has a lot of stock that he actually does. That's part of the problem, he lists things as in stock when in fact he hasn't.
I've seen ultra rare Hudson AK47 cartridges, e.g. listed in stock, they were not. Several members and forum guests have contacted me saying he's listed modelguns in stock but after placing their orders and paying he then starts telling the he is awaiting stock...

| Aha! That's totally out of integrity - thanks for the heads up Cerwyn!
What a tosser he is then!
I was giving him the benefit of the doubt!
