| I did hear some vague rumblings about this last year. It seems like pretty good news as the King Arms M1A1 is (from what I gather) considered one the better electric airsoft versions.
I did consider picking up their metal Chicago version, but the lack of blowback and more importantly the fact that it was a dressed up M1A1 with the bolt on the side put me off.
I also gather there is a weak spot on those that can actually cause the barrel to snap off (ouch). I'm guessing this super strong version might be in response to that.
Still if they do the full licensed trades and wood furniture etc. Pricey no doubt but this could be a hell of a gun, and score a big hit with the milsimers I expect as it even fires from an open bolt.

| Yep, really, really looking forward to this - when it finally does appear!??! Guns like this imo are the bridging gap for 'Purists' and 'Airsofters' (I'm both; but largely the former). AEG's are no real fun at home - ok for skirmishing if your that way inclined - whereas GBB's can do both and are great fun to shoot and get the blowback and kick at home, whilst still retaining some skirmishing ability. Hopefully this will be out before the Spring. I wonder in the meantime, who in the UK will be stocking it when it does appear!?!

Good question! They previewed this two years ago at the shot show event in the US. I've recently been asking around on some Airsoft Forums and YouTube, but the general consensus is still in the dark as to a release date. Kwa/Ksc seem to be a bit more reliable (though not by much it has to be said) in terms of release of prototypes. Their Scorpion Vz61 gbb recently hit uk retailers and I have one hitting my doorstep next week. I only hope their MP40 GBB displayed last year at Shot Show, will similarly hit the retailers sometime before 2017. As for the KA thompson, who knows... | |

| Cheers mate, no time soon then. The scorpion looks good, i had no idea they were looking at bringing an Mp40 out. i have the marushin blowback MP40 which is great but its down side is it takes 8mm BB which is a pain in the proverbial to be honest so dont use it that much. Have you seen the CO2 shell ejecting barrett looks great but i am not sure it will be legal in the UK as you fill (it seems) the rounds with CO2 which i believe will make it illegal in th UK, more the pity 50cal shell ejecting sounds just up my street. | |

| Thanks Claymore - I'll have a look at the Barrett, though it does sound as if it may well fall foul of the law. Don't give up on the KA Thompson in the meantime - I reckon it will appear either late this year or early next. Here's hoping!! | |
