| I just recenly bought a Tanaka Works Ruger AC556 Military/Police Assault Rifle. I got 6 cartridges but no caps. I would love to shoot the thing once any was and would like to know if the .223 blowback cartridges and PFC caps are available somwhere in the US. I found a place outside the US but was told they can not be shippped by air to the US. Any help would be appreciated. | |

| Hi 5card, welcome to the Forum  Tanaka's Ruger is a really nice, rare model gun and one to have in a collection, I wish I had one!You may be able get some cartridges from forum member kharris, he also sells a good amount of older and rare parts etc on Gunbroker.com His ID there is "Model Gun Collector USA"I'm not sure if he still sells caps though.www.toddscostumes.com did sell caps, he is also US based so should be able to sell you them.You could also try UK based dealers:www.plugfirecapgunsuk.comwww.mg-props.co.ukwww.modelguncollector.co.uk (No connections with kharris above)It's a possibility one of these could find you cartridges from Japan if they're still available.It would be very helpful if you could provide full details of the cartridge please. Have a look at the Cartridge Library here, if you could provide photos and dimensions it's possible other makers' .223" carts could fit and work.
