| As the title says, I'm in need of a HWABS MGC M4A1 Upper Receiver please.A complete, damaged modelgun would be considered as long as the Upper Receiver is in good condition and the price is right Thanks in advance _________________ Cerwyn

| Cerwyn, might be worth looking at the airsoft spares side as they have loads of this part from differnt manufactures (though i am sure you are aware) might need some adjustment but might not. i really dont think i have anything but i will look. | |

There's a thought clay'. The biggest job will be finding an Airsoft Receiver that'll allow MGC parts like Bolt Carriers and barrels to fit and operate.I've got a GBB Airsoft M4, make unknown but probably AGM, I'll have a fiddle about with that to see if the idea's worth pursuing. Thanks for your input mate, always appreciated _________________ Cerwyn

| Hi,
if you find out which airsoft receiver will fit a MGC model gun, I´d appreciate a short reply in this thread. I have the same problem (not surprisingly) - broken off posterior connection lug...

| Hi hkfan,Certainly will let you know. At the moment, an attempt at repairing the break seems the easiest option. Finding an Airsoft GBB receiver that will fit and accept all the PFC parts will be difficult without having one of eash type to try.I will keep you all posted _________________ Cerwyn

I will keep you all posted Perhaps you would be interested in a real part for your MGC M4 rather than a GBB part? | |

Hi carpetbagger Real receiver parts are illegal here in the UK and even if they were legal, MGC modelguns have different dimensions to the real items to stop folks fitting real "firing" parts to them. Thanks for the offer anyway, _________________ Cerwyn

| Cerwyn I have an gbb metal lower , I know you want the upper but is it worth looking at this and seeing if it can fit the rest of your model, it could give you an idea if a metal one will work | |

| Cerwyn, the GBB lower fits perfectly to the m4 lowere, the mag fits the mag well and both lowers look pretty well matched inside. I have taken a few pics of them side by side so you can compare. The lower gbb is for a WE or similar model, so going on the lower I would think the upper will be ok, though to be honest it might be worth buying an upper and lower so you have full metal. | |
