I saw this on ebay, the guy is a WWII Reenactor like me, and listed it on the reenacting forums for $550 I think (so I think that is the reserve).

Is that reasonable for an MGC Thompson in that condition?

Thanks
Thomas

Thomas,

As i can't see any link in your post i really cannot tell the MGC's condition from your description. I think that an new production MGC Thompson should be in the $450-500 range shipped..I bought my last early (display only) MGC Thompson off of eBay for $175 shipped so, they are out there...

Thomas,

After looking at the MGC it appears to be an early version that has a non functional extractor so the bolt would have to be replaced as well as possibly a detonator just to allow the use of the proper MGC cartridges. Also, the Auto-Ordnance 10 round drum is not worth having except for display. I really recomend saving your money and buying a new MGC Thompon instead of this one.
