Messed around today...........some preliminary results with an airsoft pump shotgun converted to cap-firing. Not there yet, probably goes on the shelf now for another rainy day to pick back up and work on it later......
Video - sorry for the ugly mug in there - didn't realize I was in the frame that much until it was too late! Orange marking on the barrel US rules with airsoft........
Here's a freeze frame photo of the flash:

Would love a tutorial as well! Did you use the PPS as the base, or another model?

Hi all. The base airsoft shotgun is the PPS model. I found it online at a sale price of $178US delivered, and that included a bonus crappy spring pump airsoft shotty. For the price, I thought I'd give it a try!
I haven't had time to get back to this project, but hope to once it turns cold here. I still have some experimenting to do, but it does seem very promising initially.
I will post up when I get back to it and let everyone know how I get along. Whether it is a failure or success, I'll let you all know.
I know if it does workout ok, I will be very happy!!!

Well, I just couldn't wait...............so I put off things that I SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING, and picked up the 870 again.
I'm not 100% satisfied with it yet, but it cycles and fires great. I've probably cycled and/or fired it 100 times. Occasionally I get a slam-fire - that's keeping it from 100% right now. Probably the addition of another o-ring in the cart and it'll be good.
So - here's a couple carts in action:
As far as a tutorial - I'll get up some info later for anyone interested in trying this out.

Of course we're interested! Are those just basic MGC shotty carts?

Great video! An airsoft/pfc hybrid. The forum founders/managers will need to include a new category! Thank you for sharing, Chris
