Subject: shoei fg42 cap firing Tue Jun 13, 2017 1:16 pm
hi all just wondered if anyone could enlighten me on what parts are different between the dummy shoei fg42, and the rarer cap firing version. looking at my dummy version it seems that only a detonator pin and the pfc carts would be needed. cheers jay

I can't find photos of the chamber though. If I remember correctly, there was a special tool for unscrewing and replacing it.

Excellent fella thanks very much. A quick look at them, there is not much difference apart from the extra bit in photo 2. Not sure what it does but presume it is inside the bolt, maybe in front of the dummy firing pin? Atb Jay
