| Post by Claymore yep will do but give me a few days. What about the ingram mac 11 trigger assembly, from what i have seen a lot of the guys in Japan have used the ingram for donor parts. Good luck with the project | |

| Post by jay851 cheers claymore. the mac fires from an open bolt i believe, where as the mp5 is from a closed bolt so the trigger would be different. anyone know much about the beretta m12,that looks similar.

| Post by Mark Jay, the MGC M12 is open bolt too..So, i think that narrows down the search a little bit. _________________ Wanted to buy: MGC Sten MK3....trades?(still)

| Post by jay851 hi mark oh well mate, looks more likely that im going to have to make something myself.i have been looking at some diagrams off the internet of the mp5 trigger mechanism and it does look quite technical.there are plenty of places selling trigger parts in the u.s,not sure if buying them is against the law over here though . any more progress on your project mark. jay _________________ currently own: hudson m3a1 greasegun mgc early type open barrel thompson smg kokusai s&w military/police 4" bull barrel | |

| Post by Mark Hi Jay, Yes, unfortunately, the MP5's trigger group is quite complicated and there are some tricky parts to make and it would be nice to use real fire control parts..But, i am sure that both of our respective countries governments would think that we where trying to make real guns Besides, Washington state prohibits any machinegun parts here in the state so , i really don't have much of a choice myself. So, it's either homemade or use modelgun components. My project is on hold for a while until i get some time to work on it I still think about it everyday though and i will get it done...Also, i have to buy some tooling to finish it anyway.. _________________ Wanted to buy: MGC Sten MK3....trades?(still) MGC MP40 Marushin MP40 Nakata MP40 TRC MP40 Modelgun manufacturers, past and present:CMC,CAW,Hudson,HWS,LS,MGC(R.I.P. 1960's~2007) Marushin,Marui,Kokusai,Shoei,Tanaka and Western Arms | |

| Post by Commando Jay, mate you need to buy the lower receiver from elsewhere, you would not be able to make the trigger assembly from scratch which is usable. Try ordering one from US. H&K trigger mechs are complex, therefore if you make one be careful because missfires are common with unpatented Mp5s. | |
