| Hi everyone, got my hands on a rare Tanaka M1897 (airsoft version), it has the "standard" issue of a broken extractor. Does anyone know, where I could get a replacement part? I reckon, there's no difference between the extractor of the airsoft version and the PFC version  Thanks in advance! | |

| Yes, that spare part is available in Japan.
Also, there is a C-Tec stainless steel version now available too. | |

| Thanks a lot guys! I didn't even know, that Tanaka rereleased the PFC M1897, that's an interesting development  I wasn't able to find spare extractors listed in japanese shops (neither original ones or C-Tec), my search abilities probably aren't exactly high-end... Do you have a link or something @ ljerr2? | |

Things are a bit more complicated, as it turned out, the "tunnel" for the spring and pin operating the (missing) extractor is broken and this is part of the bolt  Looks like I need a new bolt... | |
