| Hi, Just dropping a note to introduce myself. I’m a gun collector and recently acquired a MGC MP40 replica. I’m impressed at the general accuracy of this model compared to others I’ve seen. It goes well with my real G43 and K98’s. I believe it is a late model, display only, based on the plugged barrel and lack of striker and cuts. I’ll try and post some pictures below. | |

| Welcome to the club. Looks like you are right. It's a "RMI" later import version for the MP40 by MGC, they are getting harder to find these days without paying $$$$$.

| Hi and welcome to the forum. Mp40 bolt looks in good condition, normally these are cut up as well on display models. | |

| A big welcome here from me.
Sadly I can not help with the MGC MP40, but there should be members around here that know this model well. | |

Hi Stuart, welcome to the Forum.Barrel removal is straight forward enough. Unscrew the barrel nut all the way, the barrel will lift away from the receiver without any problems. _________________ Cerwyn

| Hi I can't see a barrel nut, but I have taken a few photos. I also need help on the body as some either screws have come out or bolts. And I'm looking for side plates

| That's the one. Unscrew that and the whole barrel assembly will pull off the receiver _________________ Cerwyn

| The second pair of photos you sent show where two, one each side, Allen bolts fit, see part 17 on the exploded diagram. _________________ Cerwyn
