THE WAR ROOM - My Collection

Hi Folks

This is my first post so I figured, what better way to start than show what I've got

Me and my girlfriend moved in together last December and one of my stipulations was that the spare room was my man cave.... she agreed
It is now called the War Room and is kinda small and I'm a bit of a hoarder so it's a bit squeezed, but hopefully you'll get the idea.




This is the main focus of the room, I'm a huge western fan so that has always been a primary focus for me. I'll take you through all of it, there is a bit of all sorts in there so bare with me....

the left side cabinet is my western pistol collection..











Needless to say I'm a huge Winchester fan, the stand I built from scratch from live edge oak and roated the Winchester cowboy logo into it.






May as well show the other side, I'm a big Bowie Knife fan too, so here's my Bowie collection...









Growing up my Dad was a Clint Eastwood fan so I ended up being a huge Eastwood fan too, which made me a huge Dirty Harry fan, which of course made me a huge .44 Magnum fan!  
So the top of the cabinets sport my .44 Magnum Collection....







I'm a huge fan of modern weapons too, tend to loose interest after the 90's really, modern guns have little to no character, but I'm a sucker for the classics I guess...










The Opposite side of the War Room houses a hand full of Modern Pistols....

This is a early Marushin SAA Cavalry which I bought from a local guy who for decades had run a Western shop in the local market called The Outpost, over the years we became good friends and I bought several guns from him, most of my knives and various other stuff like holsters, hats etc. This was the last thing I ever bought from him after he retired and moved to Scotland after a battle with Cancer
It was very beaten up, heavily used, completely jammed and generally just a mess, I love fiddling and a challenge so I bought it for a pretty awesome £25  It's the early vented barrel version too! I reblued it and ultimately built a brand new hammer, cylinder turner and trigger for it using steel. Works like a charm now...ish haha using double capped old style MGC Wincher .44-40 cartriges.

Wow! Nice collection. I also have a Kokusai Satan. Sadly, because they are a bit weak and easily damaged, like so many it was broken in the post so I had to repair it. Still an awesome beast though.
