Yes, it has been confirmed as a DIY modelgun. The guy in the video says that he made it himslef using airsoft MP5 parts and 9mm CP cartridges. He posted me this link:

Here's another Custom built PFC firing MP5 (I may be wrong but I'm sure the Gentleman firing this is Tanio Kobayashi himself)

He does look like Tanio, based on some other videos/pictures!
I wonder what is story behind that video - part of new model developement, private meeting with Tanio ...?

If you listen carefully, the last word in the video is actually "Tanio" :-)

There have been quite a few of this type of video where a gathering of enthusiastic modelgun owners / custom builders / whatever they may be, fire their models much to the delight and enjoyment of the audience.

Maybe there's a Club of some sort, they must be a prestigious lot if the man himself meets up with them

Wouldn't it be fantastic to get the lot of us together somewhere for a meeting like that ... one day...
