Hey! Is there anyone selling 7mm caps here? Have tried to get in touch with plugfirecapgunsuk and mg-props multiple times with no luck. Help please! Thanks!

I understand that because of the considerable effort in sourcing and importing caps to the UK, both sites will only sell caps to existing customers who have bought guns from them. Apologies if you already fall into that category.
Obviously COVID has had an impact on small business and those that are sole traders have suffered greatly under the current UK Government "help" and have not been able to receive furlough or other grants from the Government (look up #forgottenLtd).
I know John from PFC UK is an active member on here, so maybe he will see this and provide a better insight.

Hey! Yes, I’ve bought modelguns from both of them in the past, and until now I bought my caps from John. But he won’t respond to my messages... can you tell me his nickname here so I can send him a pm? Thanks!

I think most of us collectors outside of Japan have felt the anxiety of limited access to caps.
I believe some collectors are ok with that as they mostly use their replicas as "dummy" guns and don't "fire" them.
Then there are other collectors like us that find that the true fun in owning these modelguns is in firing them!
In the US, I don't even know when the next opportunity to buy caps will come. Occasionally, there are some that come up on ebay. I saw some going for ridiculous amounts! I think one time I saw an auction for $75 for only one box!
I did try to stock up when I could, so I should be in firing business for quite some time thankfully. However, if I could sell them for $75 a box......................
I hope you are able to get some caps soon!

Hi, John here from plugfirecapgunsuk. GBmicky, sorry for the lack of replies.
Truth is that Covid/UK rules/ brexit and complex boring crap is causing a lot of issues at the moment. Under UK law I am part "covid" furloughed so have about 5hrs a week when I can actually legally run the business !! Stupid but that is where we are due to all the above. On top of that I am classed CEV (vulnerable in UK) to covid, so have not been out out since March last year
The good news is when we are back to normal (hopefully very soon, but lets see how the lockdown goes here..) There will be lots of stock, also I intend to post a LOT of personal modelgun odds and sods on here, spare parts, broke guns.... all sorts And on here first to give the wonderful collecters here a chance to get bits they need to fix guns first
Caps....well I am sure that there will be plenty available soon...ish but please be patient I am trying and WILL 100% be there as I said soonish :Smilie 68:
PS GBmicky, email me again and I will see If I can sort something just for you

Broken guns? I sure could need some bobs and bits... barrel, if the chamber is intact it may even be broken, as long as the detonator can still be attached securely.

I saw John's earlier post referring to the fact that he is marked as vulnerable to COVID is very worrying! I'm sure he will respond as soon as he is able and I'm sure you will understand that lockdown has affected a lot of people in many different ways, and some of us may not be in a position to carry on as normal just yet.
As also mentioned previously, John is one of the good guys!
