I just checked the link Claymore posted about the Nambu here and found this.
The article says:
Marushin Industry Co., Ltd. announced on August 5 that it will reproduce three types of "M16A1", "XM177E2" and "M655 carbine" from the metal ignition model gun "Colt M16" series. The price is 53,680 yen for each finished product and 48,180 yen for each assembly kit, both including tax.
This product is a metal ignition model gun that reproduces the models of M16A1, XM177E2, M655 carbine from the assault rifle "M16" adopted as the main rifle of the US military. It is a model that has acquired the official license of COLT, and it will be the first reproduction in 4 years. The model gun achieves a realistic appearance. The receiver is die-cast aluminum and also features a robust engraved steel press magazine.
There are two types of lineup, a finished product model and an assembly kit. In addition, 20 spare magazines and 5 spare PF cartridges will also be on sale. The price here is 4,950 yen (tax included) for the 20 spare magazine and 2,750 yen (tax included) for the 5 spare PF cartridges.

This is an auction of a newer style assembled XM177E2.
I have the feeling that its finish/color is a little less shiny black and thus more realistic.
Also it seems to miss the "SMG" marking above the trigger which adds to the realism.

Interesting, but i would feel better if they were saying they had made improvents to the model so it fired better, or even improved the cartridge design. still a nice model though.

Does anybody know about these new models?
It seems that the new carts show up from time to time on Yahoo auctions, but I could not yet find information on marushin's website:

The web site has been under upgrade for a very long time, god knows why, but because of that no new info is on there. Marushin are using their blog for updates but evan that has little info.

Thank you very much, mate!
The video really looks promising. I also like the added gastube. Very nice.
