Anyone ever hear of Farsan? Empty

I was browsing the other day when I came across what appears to be a fairly inexpensive modelgun by a company called Farsan.

I've never heard of this company before and was wondering if anyone has any experience with their products?

Looks interesting... from the shot of the shells and the magazine, the shells do look like pfc's (as in they look as though they screw together)!

I have tried their FN1910. They are cheap and made MOSTLY all in metall ( therefore they are illegal in Japan.)

Let me return with a proper respond tomorrow! I am quite in a hurry but in short.
They are cheap, feels nice, quite hard to put together after you dissambly them and also sadly quite unreliable when it comes to firing. Sometimes you can empty entire magasines flawless but most of the times you get ¨stovepipes¨ or failure to eject.

Please notice that I only tried their 1910 though!

I had not yet heard of it. It seems that this may be another name for Haw San.

Redwolf is selling some currently:

From my understanding Haw San and Farsan are the same company.

Here is a picture of it! I just got home from a heavy work shift so dont really have the energy to write a proper review right now. I do it later Wink Anyhow.

As written before its mostly metal. I wouldnt bet on thats it is a nice quality metall but more than likely the famous ¨potmetal¨ . I think its called  Zamak-4 and its primarily a zinc based metal alloy that I know a lot of airsoft guns are made in. You can even see it on the magasine where some of the paint has been scraped off.

Anyhow what I can say is the biggest problem with the modelgun is that it fails to eject properly.

Most of the time the cartridges end up like this. It gets stuck in the ejection port. Its easily fixed though just pull the slide and it falls out . However it would be nice to actually shoot it like a semi automatic  Laughing .

Maybe the cartridges are just simply a little too long? Maybe if I file them down a tiny tiny bit?

I forgot to add maybe the most important note.

Mine is currently broken and been for maybe half a year. This might be a problem I caused myself by cleaning it with the wrong type of oil . You see like I wrote just above here the entire model is in metal. Not high quality but metal. EXCEPT the housing for the firing pin. That thing is by unkown reason made of plastic.

Here is some pictures of it dissasembled.

The part marked in red is the housing for the firing pin. That is plastic. Which I kind of missed. So I have been cleaning it with oil that you only should use on metal. That and plus that housing takes a beating each time you fire the gun so well in short parts of it have broke of. Therefor there is nothing that prevents the firingpin from reach to far into the modelgun.

I am currently working on trying to fix it. Not entire sure though, been trying with epoxy and getting it together but it just fly of everytime . Thinking about maybe just cut the firingpin shorter? scratch I will let you know!
