MGC Remington M31 RS2 Shotgun

Guys.

Does anyone have any ideas as to whether I would easily be able to transplant the innards of my MGC Remington M31 RS2 shotgun into the G&P all-metal receiver shown here?

I do not know how the model version works, but the bb version doesnt chamber the cartridge as a real shotgun would, it simply brings it up to line up with the barrel. It may work with some modification as long as you still use the model action I would have thought. You would probably have to do some major reworking of the barrel section though.

Hmm.. I know that the G&P body is just a hollow case which is held together by screws, which is good, as I should be able fit the MGC mechanism in quite easily. I take your point about the barrel section, as it normally would screw into the airsoft internals (which would not be present), so I reckon I'd have to find some way of mounting it into what is essentially a hollow body, and also rework it to ensure it can contain a detonator to fire the caps. I was going to buy the all-zinc one that Kevin was selling at MGCUK but it's been reserved by someone else
