Ooooh I want the Mare's Leg! Very cool ad I would frame and hang in my bathroom across from the toilet so I would stare at it instead of my phone.. here is what I can check off that particular ad

Where did you find the bayonet for the Winchester M-97? It looks like a Pattern 1907 Enfield bayonet.

The M1917 bayonet was also issued on the M1917 Enfield infantry rifle.

The reason I asked is that I have a functional Lee-Enfield Mk III* SMLE with an Enfield Pattern 1907 bayonet. I will have to dig out my M-97 and see if my bayonet will fit. Thanks for the information.

I believe the M1917 Enfield infantry rifle came with a M1917 bayonet as well.
