Hey y'all. I just inherited this XM177E1 model gun replica and wanted to know more about it, the history behind it, how much it's worth, etc. I don't know too much about model guns/replicas but I've always been a fan of vintage/retro AR's.

Hi there. Welcome to the Forum. You have a very nice MGC CAR-15 XM177. The only minus on that model was the fixed tubular stock. These days I'm unsure of the value in the American market but over here in the UK I think that they command anywhere up to £400, though I might be a bit behind the times with that as I haven't bought any replicas in a long time.
