Hi everyone, I have a large collection of 3D models of various guns (with moving parts). I am far too busy to do anything with them at the moment but I figured that some of you guys might be interested in them since I figure they could be modified to use PFCs and they could perhaps help you guys make replacement parts for your existing modelguns.
Some of them have been removed from the sites I originally collected them from, but all of the ones I'm open to sharing are/were open source. Here's a list of models I have:
2mm Kolibri pistol
AKM
Beretta 92A1**
Colt 1911
Colt M45
Colt Walker 1847
Desteiner .44 Magnum Single Action Revolver (Not a real gun but designed to be easily printed)**
Desteiner 1887 (Same as above, replicates the Winchester model 1887 as seen in Terminator 2)**
FN P90 (No internals, I have a different file for the fire-control-group, don't know if the two can be combined)
FP-45 Liberator
P08 Luger*
Glock 17
Glock 26
HK UMP 45**
MK47 Mutant
MP40
Nagant m1895 Revolver
Remington Rolling Block**
Sig516
STG-44 (No internals)
Suomi KP-31**
Thompson SMG
Tokarev TT33
Uzi
Anyone interested should shoot me a PM (please be patient, I don't log in all that frequently) (If any of you decide to go ahead with this, I recommend printing them at a slight up or down scale to avoid making something that might be considered a firearm by some overzealous government official) Also, I'm sure you all have the common sense to know it's a bad idea but I'm going to say it anyways:
Do not try to shoot real ammunition out of these! They will not stand up to the forces involved.

Nice. I do props for theatre and film, and so have been playing with this too, mostly to have stunt doubles for blank, airsoft, or other versions. Haven't had much luck with the fancy ones with moving parts and shell ejection and all, and things like break-action shotguns tend to just... break. Or swing open all the time. But it's a nice option to have.
Favorite recent model is a Hellcat RDP, to match one I have in both blowback shell ejecting prop version and as a real gun.
Some of these I've put up on tinyurl.com/pewtube (my YouTube channel)

For me, I do want them to be real scale, so they can double others, and so they can fit in holsters, and look realistic... but often the models I find on thingiverse, Cults3d, etc., aren't the right size or proportion, so I end up having to play around with altering scale. Sadly that's about the limit on my abilities though, since I haven't learned any of the modeling software.
Etsy has some stuff too. I enjoyed the CarneyRex NERF muskets, even if the flintlock and matchlock mechanisms break easily.
