I better use my lunch time wisely & tell you guys about this...

This is a zinc-made cap-firing revolver using old Kokusai's molds or parts:

Courtesy of noda-ya (again):

Sekitou's S.A.A. .45 Special Set 1723069392_55ce3bb3c0

*With choices of Civilian or Artillery models;
*Comes with black ebony grips;
*Package includes: 6 firing carts, 2 dummy carts, and a MODERN-style gun case.

I prefer a classic-looking wood case though (even if it means higher cost...)

If it uses the old Kokusai moulds, do you know whether it is still using the .44 magnum rounds, or whether they made it for the .45? That always really bugged me so much, that I still even now consider trying to drill out the cylinder to make the chambers bigger. Sekitou's S.A.A. .45 Special Set Icon_evil

From what was printed on the ad - this revolver uses the old .45 Long Colt carts from Kokusai so I don't think the .44 Magnum fits...

I'll tell all you guys about it if I happen to get one in the near future...

Actually Jim, have you ever looked at an old zinc MGC (RMI) Single action .45? I wonder if this is actually the old molds from the MGC...

No Mark unfortunately...actually there isn't a second hand market for modelguns in HK so it'll be extremely hard to find the old zinc guns nowadays (maybe occasionally one or two pieces from some tiny toy shops selling on consignment...)

From what I've learnt though...RMI is identical to old MGC only that they use this brand for the international market...am I correct anyone?

I'd just fallen into the cowboy guns as well as other manually-operated firearms because real steel wise they'll stay legal longer than the semi-autos (full-auto as well - unless I live in Iraq then I can only get the full auto AKs) - so when I collected my modelguns before I tend to look for the "prohibited" weapons only...since I'm (almost!) enough of the modern arms now I start hunting for these "single-shot" weapons...
