Folks,

As the title says - MKK will release 3 models late 2007~early 2008 (and I know members from the UK will hate me for telling them these Extra! Extra! Marushin re-make old models! Icon_twisted ):

Courtesy of Noda-Ya:

1) Extra! Extra! Marushin re-make old models! Colt25
Colt .25 Auto - dummy model made with "Excellent Heavyweight" material.

2) Extra! Extra! Marushin re-make old models! M1910
Browning M1910 - again a dummy made with Excellent material.

And news just in (yesterday actually) - the return of Webley!
3) Extra! Extra! Marushin re-make old models! Mk1
Enfield No.2 Mk1 Police - again it is Excellent...but a firing model with wooden grips fitted this time!

Does it mean that all the HW guns made by them before are crap? If so I've to throw them all away immediately...seriously, "Excellent" in this regard means smoother surface with some kind of lacquer coating on top of it (I have my Excellent Colt 1911A1 next to me at the moment...).

In my opinion - these Excellent models make the guns "ironic" (I want to say the guns look more iron-like with parkerised finish - not my life).

On the release date - never expect Marushin to keep their words...I might see them around Easter next year...

I've 2 pre-owned MKK Enfields - one with 4" barrel with brown plastic grips and then this one. I love the boxes as well...

Nowadays the gun boxes are less attractive for collection so hopefully MKK can make better packagings again for these 3 classics...

For those who've never encounter the Excellent MKK guns:

Extra! Extra! Marushin re-make old models! 2054707627_283118dd8b_b
This is the Excellent Colt .45 that they offered earlier - so expect the colour/surface treatment of the 3 classics will be looking similar like this.

Not so realistic after all (they're extremely light in weight also) but still, these are attractive modelguns in their own right... Extra! Extra! Marushin re-make old models! Icon_biggrin

Sorry...the Colt & the Browning will be dummies (I think mainly because the excellent HW material is too brittle for blowbacks).

I'm quite sure that Enfield Police were only released with wooden grips - the Police is the one with shorter barrel.

Anyway I'll post the pics of both hinged frame revolvers (probably tomorrow...)
