Ah, the Tanaka type 100! One of my favorite modelguns. These are really rare modelguns that will occasionally show up for sale in Japan. Most of these where made as dummy display only models with a small run of firing versions. Tanaka made this gun along with versions of the Arisaka rifles in their series of WW2 Japanese firearms.
I think that the receivers on these models where cast out of zinc alloy and they are quite well detailed. That and the wood stock is made quite nicely so, I am sure that they are hard to get. These Tanaka's have been out of production for some time..
I am sure that one of the Tanaka type 100's can be found for sale if you really want one. But, be prepared to pay a hefty sum for one..
