Richard , its another varient of the MGC P.38 (same type as sold by "replica models" Sussex )

The grips are chocolate brown and the trigger to hammer sear connector on the right has a screw through it ?

The detonator is only very short and was put there to stop live rounds being chambered , the original shells for that would have been solid brass with a small indent in the top .

How much such a MGC P-38 would be worth? (ballpark figure)

I've seen one locally, without magazine nor shells. Condition good although surface a bit scrached.
Seller asked for price proposal.

It was made and sold by Marushin. The original mould was made by Nakata in 1968(Showa 43),planned by Mr.Noboru Mutobe. I think that nmg43 means Nakata Model Gun (Showa)43
or Noboru Mutobe Gun.
