Shipping Marushin XM177E2 from Denmark to UK

Hi all, myself and stinger have arranged a sale, whereby he sends me his XM177 to UK. Now, in my knowledge customs could check the package, evaluate the 'replica' then re-pack it for delivery, is this correct? The VCR hasn't come in yet, so surely they couldn't prosecute???

Need any advice from well-informed Brits please...

you should be fine ,

Make sure there is a note inside addressed to UK customs to say its only a model, If the instructions are included that will help.

Make sure no caps are included as technically these should only be transported via boat unless its a specialist courier .

" Display item" on the ticket will sound better than Licensed colt replica assault rifle ...
