There are 2 guns that I have searched for for over 40 years now. One is the 'Bird'beak' gripped short Webley and the other is one of these MGC M40 Airweight Specials. Has anyone ever owned one?

I think you got these pictures from gzinc proph site. The site master live in the US and you may be able to ask your questions for him.
He wrote MGC Centennial was the first modelgun that had real system cylinder stopper and cylinder shaft locking.

There is another Japanese blog that you can see MGC Centennial ad when new release in Nov 1965.

Hi HIGU-san.. I'm not sure where I downloaded the pic from as it's been in my files for years. It looks as if this is a VERY rare gun and I'm afraid that I must resign myself to disapointment! Thanks for writing. Terry
