| Post by ricks I remember seeing another post about this hybrid. It's an attempt to create a crossover between you-knpw-what and PFC. I own one - the shells are plastic, and the caps are the VERY small (approx. 2.5 mm) plastic ring-style caps. Here's a link if you want to see one... http://www.toyarsenal.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=4T&Product_Code=ACG1200&Category_Code=toy123 I apologize in advance if the Forum deems it airsoft - the seller adamantly maintains it is not. I personally feel they're being presumptuous on that note and have made this post only so others can draw their own conclusion. The bottom line is this: 1) It's plastic; 2) It feels undersized (32 inches/81 cm); 3) It has an electric motor WITH PLASTIC GEARS (extra gears included - what does that tell you?) 4) It does shoot a 6mm "pellet," if desired 5) You probably can't get one from a US dealer, although it's made in Asia - China, I believe. I'm not an idiot (that I'm aware of... Ignorance is bliss ) I bought it only as a collector who likes unusual toy guns. Caveat emptor _________________ Rick | |

| Post by ricks I actually haven't shot it yet... will get back to you when I've done my "homework." (Sometimes I just hate to get a new toy dirty). The tiny caps are only a fraction of the size of even a 5mm cap, so don't expect much. In the meantime, here's another link. Sorry it contains the "a-word," but the gun is honestly sold as a cap-firing hybrid. This seller MAY ship overseas... but you'll have to verify the legality in your own country. http://www.airsoftmagic.com/Hybrid_Guns.html_________________ Rick | |

| Post by ljerr2 Rick, Please give it a go and let us know what you think. I am sure the sales video is greatly enhanced, so it'd be nice to have a review. | |

| Post by Claymore If this is using the cap as a propellant rather than air than i have to agree with Doc, not legal over here. However if the cap is just for a noise and air propels the BB then should be OK, to late for us either way though i think. | |

| Who provided the sound effects? Sounds like a Spaghetti Western gun fight Piaww, Piaww Piaww On a positive note though, the combination of shell eject, smoke, noise and being able to shoot at targets is appealing. | Post by fightdesigner I have a couple of these I picked up for prop use here in the US.
Lightweight, molded plastic. Quality is like that of a cheap airsoft, not at all as nice as an MGC metal-bodied M4. Semi-auto only, no three round bursts or full auto.
It's basically an electric airsoft gun in terms of operation- battery-powered mechanism chambers and ejects the plastic 'shells'. Cap in the back is optional, but a nice option to have. You can hear the motor sound when it operates, but it's not too bad... the nice thing is it's pretty reliable, since it doesn't depend on the force of the cap to accomplish anything.
It can fire airsoft bbs, but works fine without them as well. _________________ Freelance hack... and slash, and gun. | |

| Post by fightdesigner Don't have the time to make one right now, but there's others online already (I think I even saw a link on the above posted website). The ebay seller I bought 'em from had videos in his auction as well. Plenty on YouTube too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ztf5JBG2tok_________________ Freelance hack... and slash, and gun. | |
