| Post by Jim Found an interesting Japanese site earlier on showing some of the customised modelguns...interestingly there're the cost breakdown of some of the models: *S&W M&P 2" (converted from Hartford's M19 HW 2.5") = JPY 93,900 Breakdown Base gun = JPY 22,000 Part = JPY 900 Restamping = JPY 6,000 Barrel Alteration = JPY 15,000 Detail Up (?) = JPY 5,000 Blueing = JPY 45,000  Among other custom guns the labour cost for blueing range between JPY 43,000 - 50,000...that is GBP 200 - 230 - anyone interested? | Post by Claymore Bloody hell!! well they look real good but no way could i warrant that much on a model gun, i can understand why it costs that much though work on these models can be harder than on the real thing. dont see me doing any custom work like that though just yet | |
