Amazing stuff, especially the P90 mag, that is amazing, I examined one when they were first available here, amazing to copy it with a home build.
Was that a Mauser C96 action inside the SA80?
The MG34 was fun, shame the bipod fell off.

Yes, it appears to be a Marushin M712 action inside of the SA80. It seems to run pretty well doesn't it?

Now, small quiz. Guess who is who. The people in the photo are:

Mr. Kobayashi (ex-MGC)
Mr. Mikoshiba (custom maker)

That's great. I think I can figure out 4 out of 6.
I wish I could join this great event one day!
That is the real fun of this hobby: to meet & share face to face, especially the chance to meet the VIP like Mr. Kobayashi & talk about the history of modelguns.

Mr. Mikoshiba designed AK47, PPSh41, Thompson, Madsen, M1 rifle and so on for Hudson.
He showed his handmade M1900 and Steyr.


Mr. Ikegaya made modelguns from ASG.
SIG P210 was made from Marushin's ASG.

What a great photo to get, i hope you let these very imortant men know just how much enjoyment they have given to us over here in west with their models.
Well no problem in sorting shazhib and francky or mr kobayashi but i am afraid that not sure on anyone else, Higu-san front right? really sorry if i am wrong Higu-San.

I can only for definate say Francky and Mr. Kobayashi. I have a pretty good idea as to which is which for the others, and can make an educated guess that andyone who designed the pfc cartridge would have to be an older gentleman, which may help with deducing the others, but I would love to be put out of my misery! When will you let us know!?

Just saw the pic of the gentlemen & I'm glad I got everybody right in just one go...since Mr Kobayashi & Mr Ikegaya are well-respected so they'll be seated in front definitely...

Since I assume our Japanese members will be the younger ones (partly because of their English skill - speculation only) so the gentleman standing on the left of the photo shall be Mr. Mikoshiba...then Francky - he showed his photos earlier here, then I can tell Shazhib by his thumb so the gentleman wearing glasses must be Higu-san...

This is a relatively logical approach isn't it - wish I saw this post earlier so I can claim the 1st prize...
