| Post by Claymore There is a P99 out as well not seen any reports and not sure how far that slide actually blows back but they are not to expensive and have air pistol power levels so maybe a good gun for target shooting at longer distances | |

| Post by bigbshotya hi, i used to own this oneits the co2 version bb, https://2img.net/r/ihimizer/img51/4206/kwcdeco2l2nj.jpg it wasnt what i expected, the Tokyo marui airsoft gas blow back version is havier, the recoil was greater and the sound was better even tho this model was full metal. i was pretty disapointed to tell you the truth. | |

| Post by DeadlyElement bigbshotya - the gun he's referring to is a co2 pellet gun, not an airsoft gun Seen a few reviews of these and the blowback isnt really what its cracked up to be...the slides only blowback about an inch if that! and with the DE only the back part of the slide blows back. I'll try find links to the reviews and post them up. They look ok but if your used to the blowback on an airsoft gas blowback they might be a let down, the slides also dont lock back when your out of ammo. edit: DE review (both reviews in german so stick the link into babelfish) http://www.co2air.de/wbb2/thread.php?threadid=23463 P99 Compact http://www.co2air.de/wbb2/thread.php?threadid=22653 Example of how far the slide moves on the P99c | |

| Post by DeadlyElement If you put the links into this site under the "translate a URL" part it will roughly translate the pages into english for you http://babelfish.altavista.com/tr I've been thinking the DE looks too small aswell, im not 100% sure if its 1:1 scale, hmm i'll try and find out. | |

| Post by LDR Funny i was just going to ask about the CO2 P99. Here is a link to them in the US: http://www.carlwalther.com/cp99.htm Are these legal in the UK? I have seen a real nice blank P99 but i don't think its legal here in the UK? Any info on this P99 would be great. Thanks Lewis | |

The CP99 co2 pistols are perfectly legal in the UK but the blank firers i've seen were always forward venting versions which are totally illegal. You can buy the CP99 co2 guns in nearly any decent gunshop/gun website over here, so theres no need to buy from the US. | |

| Post by bigbshotya DeadlyElement.... the one i put up is a full metal co2 gun its just bbs instead of pellets, the tokyo marui gas blow back desert eagle are pretty realistic, they look the part and are pretty heavy, it weighs more than the pfc desert eagle when the pfc desert eagle its loaded. | |

| Post by Illuminatti Well, if you want blowback, CO2 guns are never going to be very impressive unless they take 2 bulbs. One is enough to fire the pellet, but to have blowback aswell, its gonna use up a bulb in 2 shots lol. So we wont see good blowback CO2 until they start with 2 bulbs or bigger gas supplies. | |
