| Post by Doc correct , altering the "action" of a deact will land you in a world of poo.
sights, stocks and add ons are about the only thing you can do.
Even if you machined out ALL the internal surfaces from a deact and say fitted gas airsoft gear you would have a converted firearm in the eyes of the law. simple rule. Leave deacts alone apart from cleaning the things. _________________ We need guns...lots of guns....

| Illegal bigtime in the States - just ask the folks at Schoessler's what they have to go through to get a blank-fire-only model approved. I once wished we could do this, too, but the legalities and the cost are prohibitive here. | |
