I do think but not 100% so and it MAY also depend on who carried out the deact work as some butcher them, others are a bit more sympathetic Revolver (De-ac) Icon_wink

Hi fivefive:

Learnt from another forum that you're after a service revolver from the Hong Kong Police - if you want the retired RHKP revolvers then I'm afraid you can only get the new spec one (the HK government auctioned the whole lot after 1995 when they switched from the std. barrel to the bull barrel verion of the same model in 1993).

Some older ones (in small quantities) released in the early 90s but most of them shipped to the US and cost only USD$100.00 each (at that time - now according to a Florida gun shop it cost under USD $500.00) - so good luck!

Alternatively - just buy a normal revolver and then carve "RHKP" and any serial number you want behind the grip.

FYI, I posted several detailed replies on the other forum earlier for your reference.

What some people have done, is to cut down an empty shell case (and make sure that it is an empty one, or else! Revolver (De-ac) Icon_lol ) to be only up until the cylinder blockage, that way when the cylinder is open it looks like there are rounds in there. In the front end just insert the bullet tip. It sounds crap, and it is in a way, but it still looks the biz.
