Now comes with a metal slide!

So am I correct to assume that this gun does everything except fire the cartridges? Does it have the extractor fitted to the metal slide and is able to cycle the cartridges manually? Also, how much were you asking for it??

At the moment yes. But actually, I'm at this moment dremelling a replacement barrel pin from a screwdriver Received the metal slide yesterday, got really exited and having some progress in long long time. But as I just hate hate hate replacing the broken plastic barrels my goal was to have a metal barrel&barrel link, but it's bit complicated as all the parts would have to be fabricated. As you can see from the picture the airsoft guide rod is a two part affair...

Yes extractor is fitted. The replica cycles perfectly throwing carts several meters. The magazine has been sanded to feed the whole mag without trouble and the peek holes are open.

I do not yet posses a picture of the new slide and the one shown is quite old.

As for the price, I'm not looking to lose much in the deal especially if I can get the new firing pin to work. The metal slide is getting harder and harder to find as they are discontinued and its pretty much mint! Anyway I'm entertaining offers. Will be keeping if lowballed. I'll update on process.

Are you saying the lower frame (receiver) on the right, in your picture, is from a real handgun?

...or simply the piece of metal that constitutes the trigger itself is from HK?

(In the US the lower frame (in most handguns) is the firearm and is regulated as such, for export/import, etc)

The original tanaka usp has its
1. trigger replaced with a real H&K trigger
2. slide replaced with an airsoft one
3. barrel firing pin replaced with an adjustable one

All the other airsoft parts, namely the three barrels, are for completing the ultimate goal of having a metal barrel to replace the fragile plastic. The airsoft lower frame serve no purpose other than it has a metal trigger of equally bad quality as the original.

And it works now I'll get pictures and maybe a video up when I get my camera back.
