Quite fancied this myself .
Looks v nice £530 but taking offers ?
Is that a good price for a full metal ,40 ??
I would have thought so .

As a quick comparison ModelgunCollector have one showing at £550 and Francky's got one on GunBroker (looks unused) for US$698 (about £425 + shipping and possible Vat when it gets here) This looks in beautiful nick considering it was made in 1968 according to Francky's Ad'
If this one on Millweb is in good working order, it sounds like it's priced about right for Retail doesn't it

Hi Just looking there is a blank firing one for £800 with 6 mags how is there any saving it going to covert to blank firing.

Do these Nakatas convert to blank firing then ?
Did not think that zinc would be able to take the pressures of 9mm PAK or the centrefire 9 mm blanks
Especially on full auto !!

it says that it is all metal so i thought steel it could be Zinc if it was then no it would blow up in your face wouldn't it here is what the guy put.
Replica plug fire Tokyo Nakata MP40 Made in japan in the late 60's, its all metal made and in good condition. It comes with a original MP40 sling. I havn't test fired it because I don't have any caps. £530 but willing too take offers. 07968 067229

I'm sure that all the Nakata MP40s are Zinc.
There's no way I'm aware of that Zinc alloy models can be converted safely to fire Blank rounds. The MGC MP40 which has steelrecievers needs extensive strengthening work as well as new steel components to make safe for Blanks.
