The guide from MGC is translated.

Good Bye MGC 73833110
【MGC shuts down a factory on April, 2010 30. Thank you for use about the situation to date. 】

Additionally, it seems to sell off the metal mold.
COLT 32AUTO sold with MGC is put on the market from CAW before.

It is sad to see MGC closing it's doors again, more so because Hudson are to close soon also.
It isn't that long ago that New MGC took control is it?

With luck, moulds and tooling to produce the modelguns will be bought by other manufacturers as CAW have done.

Spare parts and consumables will be a major worry, let's hope supplies of those continue
to be available

Sadly, nothing lasts forever :-/

Maybe someday there will be New New MGC :-)

So now the molds for Government, Thompson and New Lawman are for sale - then how about the molds for Remington M31?

With the production line's gone - now only the MGC shop remains...but for how long?

Want to say it for sometime - the quality of the HW material used for recent MGC products were far from satisfactory (very rough on surface and it changes colour and smell after some very short time) and the steel parts rusted very quick (i.e. the rear sight of my M4s) - a move to reduce cost by using cheaper materials which is the same case for Hudson...

I made the comment above because I also got several guns made by Old MGC (pre-1995) and their condition's still better than the new ones...so it's not storage problem...

I think the only way for the industry to stay in the game is to move the production line offshore (such as KSC & Tanio-Koba move most of the processes to Taiwan)...
