Help identify this cartridge Empty
PostSubject: Help identify this cartridge   Help identify this cartridge Icon_minitimeWed Sep 29, 2010 12:42 am

Hello!

I need help to identify this cartridge:

Help identify this cartridge Dsc03955

I know the image is very blurry... i hate digital cameras >.<

I got it from modelguns-worldwide and i used them in a Beretta M9 from WaShan.
It's a 9mm.

The Beretta is broken now, and I search a new Beretta M9 or 92f.
But I have so many cartridges left, so I search a model in wich those could fit in.

The whole cartridge is 2,7cm long.
The lower part is 1,5 cm long without crew thread and with screw thread 1,7 to 1,8 cm.
The upper part / top is 1,7 cm long.

Maybe some can identify this cartridge and maybe even tell in wich Beretta models they fit (MGC or Marushin)

Thanks!

Based in inner parts it is not Marushin PFC system, but MGC or similar (Hudson, KSC).

I think this one could be MGC 9mm CP-HW cartridge for Sig P220, but I don't have any to compare. Length and shape seem to fit, check this picture from Francky:

These cartridges work in MGC P220 (obviously), but after detonator pin conversion also in MGC MP40:
https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/mgc68-mp40-f17/converting-to-p220-cartridges-detpin-dimensions-t2539.htm
Marushin UZI:
https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/marushin-uzi-modelgun-f23/converting-to-mgc-p220-cartridges-detonator-pin-dims-t2544.htm
MGC Sterling:
https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/modelgun-problems-f5/mgc-sterling-convert-to-fire-pfcs-t201.htm
and many other models - they were fairly popular for conversions as they fitted most chambers and only detonator pins had to be adjusted..

Judging from pictures here:
https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/modelgun-caps-cartridges-and-magazines-f6/hwa-shan-s-disposable-rounds-t1593.htm
and discussion here:
https://mp40modelguns.forumotion.net/modelgun-caps-cartridges-and-magazines-f6/wa-shan-m92-which-cartridges-t437.htm
it looks that WaShan uses same cartridge type for their M9, P220, TT33 and Glocks, so one of these could be an option.

Thank you for all the help!

Any chance those P220 cartridges work in another M9 or 92f model, besides the WaShan?

Perhaps they work in a MGC Beretta? as they are MGC cartridges...
