If only we could have "Experience Days" like this here in the UK Exclamation Wouldn't that be something Question

These MP5s are going to sell like "Hot Cakes" aren't they... if they work as well as they look they'll be superb

If only.

They will sell like hot cakes. they've been in development for ages. All steel MP5 GBB, WE will be next. I did try out WE's SA80, thats all stamped steel. I did say in an earlier post that that particular model would be crap, but its the most heaviest of models on the market - and rock solid. I could'nt beleive it!

It wont be long now until WE bring out their MP5, thier M4A1 is now steel outer barrel!! And for NT800 (£168) that's not bad. VFC are the best GBB on the market today, with WE second.

Judging by RedWolf Airsoft's WE SA80 video, it looks and sounds extremely good. I suppose that being a sales promo, it's going to looking good, very good.
Their PDW models tempted me for a long time but I held back hearing tales of leaking magazines etc that let an otherwise good product down badly.
I've just recently bought a used GBB M4 of unknown Chinese origin, it's full of upgraded bits and pieces and has impressed me a lot.

I just know that an affordable, full metal GBB MP5 is going to be in my cupboard the instant I can get one

You're gonna be spending a lot of money? I dont think the trades on them are that good. Also the paint job is not up tp par on some. The quality control has gone out of the window, and yet some are fine. The telescopic butt is NT3000, the gun is NT9800, too much. I might get one in a few months time when the feedback comes in.

Then some explanation on the day: 2 MP5s each with different stocks for test-fire / 1 for fiddle & the other one fieldstripped for better understanding...

The markings on the samples were different to the actual gun - "HK MP5" & "Kal 9x19mm" are stamped while the "6mm BB" and the "KE" serial number in laser marking...each gun comes with unique s/n and a 20% discount card for replacement parts - so if I wipe the laser marking off in an attempt to make the gun more realistic then the warrenty will be void Mad - what a pain in the ass Evil or Very Mad ...

Another note: only A2 are sold (as you guys can see on the price table) and if people like me who likes A3/A5 better then the optional collapsible stock is the only way to go (and for some HKD$800 each it's quite money-grabbing Mad )...

Also on site: that dummy G36 - feels slightly better than WE's as the cocking & dry firing is quite smooth (also mag looks promising) - but nothing's definite at the moment and we'll have to wait for the actual product to speak for themselves...

The photos I took above shows the sample identical to the final product...shame this sample gets better & deeper markings than the actual gun...

2 guns with optional 3 spare mags / 2 collapsible stocks / 1 tactical forearm sets me at around HKD$8,000 (HK Dollars are going down "shrinking" with US Dollars so I don't really think the value is justified) - well I'm mad about MP5 & I plan to get 3~5 GBB MP5s so 2 VFC / 1 WE / 1 SRC is my plan (don't forget that Chinese made Maruzen system open-bolt MP5 GBB before)...

My complain so far - the paint on the mag scratches easily Mad ...the thick black paint feels very soft (but smooth)...

Earlier I've said that some of the orders sit in my lounge - i.e. I've to go back to WGC around mid-June for the 3 mags / forearm w/flashlight and the scope mount (supplied without charge...oh really? Wink ).

Suffering insomnia right now so I'll post as many as possible Wink ...

Great concert - thanks Smootik for asking (3 full hours with ticket price >HKD $300/ea and best of all several worth-watching guests on the concert and 2 encores) Very Happy ...

Might well be keeping your Maruzen as classic airsoft Wink ...

I actually want one of these "semi-auto only" MP5 SBR as these are widely use by UK / HK uniformed police - an interesting collection Very Happy ! This version will be sold in Germany / New Zealand...?

Trivia...

VFC H&K MP5 Experience Day@WGC 28th May 2011 010620113164
Luckily able to find a parking space quite close to WGC therefore didn't suffered much carrying 2 MP5s back to the car under 35°C heat lunchtime...

VFC H&K MP5 Experience Day@WGC 28th May 2011 020620113165
Ran out of space - so have to have it sit on the lounge...

VFC H&K MP5 Experience Day@WGC 28th May 2011 020620113166
Opened up one of it...

VFC H&K MP5 Experience Day@WGC 28th May 2011 020620113168
The box of the optional (and pricey!) collapsible stock...

VFC H&K MP5 Experience Day@WGC 28th May 2011 020620113167
...and apparently the stock - I wonder how much these stock for real steel will cost...but also afraid the size won't fit (very likely as well otherwise VFC won't rip us off like this Mad )

VFC H&K MP5 Experience Day@WGC 28th May 2011 020620113169
A wider shot of both the gun & the stock...

VFC H&K MP5 Experience Day@WGC 28th May 2011 030620113178
The bolt...

VFC H&K MP5 Experience Day@WGC 28th May 2011 030620113177
The "disclaimer" marking on the right of the lower...better than the one on the samples...

VFC H&K MP5 Experience Day@WGC 28th May 2011 030620113172
Managed to replace the fixed stock at the time of writing Very Happy ...

Will see what to do with the other gun this weekend Wink ...

Gossip - the reason for VFC to sell this MP5 in A2 fixed stock configuration only...read from certain forum that Umarex / Cybergun comes up with the idea that VFC have to pay different "royalties" for A2 & A3 with the more popular A3 charged unreasonably higher...in order to keep the sales price as reasonable as possible ( Question Question Exclamation ) the collapsible stock sells as optional parts (legal loophole...kind of)...

Another trivia - I picked up the guns on the day not without problem: I'd to try out 4~5 guns in order to pick a good pair - bad polishing on the metal body & stiff charging handle were the reasons...also the bolt-stop function is still quite immature as some internal parts might get worn out very quickly with it...

Correction - I can slap the charging handle for that cool cocking action very easily now - in contrary to what I'd mentioned before Rolling Eyes

Box is excellent, it makes an impression as if you had the real deal :-)

What was the reason you thought handle was stiff before? Oil or just more "slap force"?

How solid does the model feel? Weight, rattling, I guess it is metal/solid/heavy and with tight tolerances.

Interesting about licensing of A2/A3 versions, it sounds plausible though. When "Witcher 2" PC game was released, original manufacturer (Polish company) was forced to charge more in Australia purely due to demands from distributor who had rights for that particular market.
I'm pretty sure the real stock wouldn't fit VFC model, if only due to some minuscule dimensions changes.

All Umarex box looks like this because they want to standardise their products (recently KWA's MP7A1)...and as you might have noticed, the instruction manual looks similar to those for the real steel as well...

Stiff charging handle - I simply couldn't pull the bolt back out of the box as if the bolt have been welded solid with the gun...weight - similar or slightly lighter than my Chinese GBB MP5 & the real steel (I'd fiddled with the genuine Police-issued MP5 SBR during some Police Open Days before so I can tell Wink )...not much rattling as it's still in brand new state...these are steel stamping GBBs and tolerance shall be tight as well...

Sounds plausible for me as well regarding the optional A3 stock...if VFC have a choice they don't need to go through all these...

Next we will see what WE & SRC will deliver Wink ...

Maybe not...reasons: 1) Too expensive to go out; 2) already some reports of internal parts broke easily Crying or Very sad ...

That's why WE guns are good for battles (cheap / original - genuine replacement parts basically available / as always "RA-Tech" reinforced parts are waiting behind)...

I thought the internals were made from steel? So VFC have fallen down on this one, and its nothing but a wall mount, with a crap external finish?

WE are cheap, but they’re getting stronger, and parts are readably available, and will take over VFC.

Some parts around the feeding ramp were said to be made of zinc alloy...another case of impulse buying Wink ...keep in mind WE won't be carrying any H&K reference (maybe SRC as well)...

Another problem so far - the collapsible stock isn't as smooth as I expected...but firing performance (empty-firing mode) still great Very Happy ...

I can get both of these with combined discount of round HKD $1,000...so, why not Laughing ?

Oh dear. So it is a wall mount after all. I'm not that bothered that WE wont have trades on theirs, as long at it works thats the main thing. It seems that VFC have come up with a lemon with this one.

Significant though...first ever decent (and official) MP5 GBB - and I'm mad about MP5 that's why I go for it Wink ...

Almost certain WE (as a relatively market-friendly airsoft maker) won't sell the collapsible stock as optional parts...
