yes correct put the end of the sling through the buckle part after threading it through the rear sling hook of the 40 then put the sling through the front and use the button to lock the sling together. you van adjust the length with the buckle

All good now. leather quite tough though - needs a good soaking!

A good rubbing with leather oil will soften these slings up nicely. If you need some photos of slings attached, have a look at the MGC68 MP40 category:
