Did you use a center fire or a side fire Beretta M84 for your conversion? and did you make the Marushin magazine catch work or ? as that part is not clear to me Thanks!



If Gun_PB used a side fire M84, then the extractor is part of the "Firing pin" and no slide modifications where required for the extractor clearance beyond making sure that the Marushin breech block would fit properly.

Also, Gun_PB used the Marushin M84 magazines to retain the basic Marushin system.

He is AKI. A note of Nagoya off-line meeting introduced it formerly.
He used no modelgun and produced this. It is an expert of a full scratch.
He is still 22 years old.

I am missing the Japanese side of my WW2 weapons in my collection and I was trying to get the Tanaka type 100 first, as it is the most rare.

That is good to hear Gun-PB it would be great if we could influence the modelgun makers to produce new models and even bring back some of the older ones they used to make.

Marushin and MGC have had recent releases of older models which was excellent and a suprise, with forums like this and web sites like yours maybe we can keep the pressure on to produce more.

Gary, The Craft Apple Works bergmann is a cool but expensive modelgun and i wish that i could afford to buy one however, $2,000+ is a little steep for me i am afraid The SMG that i would really like to get is the Tanaka Japanese type 2 smg these are rare,but they are cool looking with a kind of classic prewar appearance. Nah, iv'e already seen that one and it's on it's way to me already No actually, in reality, that is a good price however, CAW makes the Bergmann in two versions a dummy non-firing version and a PFC version and i figgure that the dentrinity version is a dummy and i am not sure that they can get the PFC type and, by the time that i am done with the cartridges etc to get it to fire, i will have over $2,000 in to it
