OPEN BARREL Metal Tanaka???? not for open barreled models....... just an old type centre fire tanaka cart, use in blocked barreled metal models, with cylinder restrictions also.

Hi again!

OK, this straightens out a few question marks; so, these are the old type Tanaka SAA .45 cartridges...
are these still obtainable? Would be great to have a few extra Razz

Hi singleaction,

It may be possible to find the old type cartridge but it could be easier to use the new type which should be readily available.
I'd suggest you have a word with John at www.plugfirecapgunsuk.com , he can advise you better than I regarding compatibility and availability of the cartridges.  Very Happy

Thanks a lot, Cerwyn; this forum is truly great and amiable! I have contacted John now for advice Smile
Also, I have now written a short piece on the spanish replica manufacturing company Kolser S.A. and it can be found in the thread Model gun history under "List of manufacturers". I've also added some pics and videoclips, just for fun Smile
