This imitation MP40 was built by a guy called David Taylor in Australia, who is a very talented wood and metal worker. I've put it next to my MGC 68 in one picture, but thought it might be interesting to show you guys the skill that some people have when faced with draconian import laws!

Fantastic workmanship isn't it? I recall Ozguns's (I think) post a long while back showing several scratch built replica guns bilt by one enthusiast. All really superb looking replicas. I wonder I this MP40 was made by the same man?

He wasn't at the Militaria Fair this year though, but a fair few of his guns were.

The only part that looks off is the muzzle nut, you should buy a real one, they are readily available.
